Stress, anxiety, anger and worry all these emotions are common that can be seen easily among human beings. God has given us a greatest gift of bouquet of feelings and emotions. In this bouquet, we have roses with fragrance (positive feelings) and thorns (negative emotions). We have to learn to experience the sweet fragrance of roses of positive emotions and protect ourselves from these thorns of negative emotions.

Emotional Well-being is the most essential part of our life. We have to maintain a balance between our physical well-being, emotional well-being, and mental well-being to stay happy and healthy. Most of us don’t know to manage our negative emotions and channelize them into right way. Don’t worry! I will share some useful tips in order to maintain emotional well-being.

TIP:1# Maintain Social Connectivity: It’s very important to stay socially connected with family members, friends, relatives and significant others. Nowadays, virtual world has been taken the responsibility to make us close to our loved ones. When we relate with others, it may be a source of mental peace and release of negative energy and emotions as well. Sometimes, when we are feeling depressed we can get some positive vibes from others. One thing that we should remember is that avoid interaction with toxic person who have negative attitude. We should always try to be in the company of people who have positive attitude so that they will influence us in a positive manner.



TIP:2# Always Carry a Million Dollar Smile on your Face: We all have thousand kind of tensions and worries in our day to day life. We forget to smile but if we carry smile on our face despite of all our tensions, we will gradually be able to feel relax to some extent at the experiential level. Always remember that everybody experience difficult times in their life but we should always try to remain positive. Never lose hope because good days will come after bad days.

TIP:3# Spirituality: If we are feeling depressed or anxious due to some reason, we should never lose hope. Have faith in God. Spend some of your time in prayer and worship of God. He is the ultimate source of divine energy. We should think that it will definitely gradually help us to heal our emotional wounds and make us strong. Don’t forget that God cannot see their children in pain. But if we are experiencing emotional pain today it means there is a reason to strengthen us emotionally and make us mentally and emotionally strong to deal with adverse circumstances in future.

TIP:4# Writing on Paper Technique: It provides us a constructive way to release our negative emotions. Through this process, negative emotions can be replaced by positive emotions. It is very helpful method to channelize your negative emotions in a right direction.

TIP:5# Make a Diary: When we feel sad or anxious, maintain a diary. We have to mention there our emotion, incident, date, time and intensity of that emotion that we were experiencing art that time. After a day or a week, we have to look at this emotional record and try to find out some other ways to reduce your sadness such as: Gardening etc.


All these tips will be helpful in maintaining the emotional well-being. Follow these tips and see the positive change into your life.
